About The Role:
- Location: Greendale Business Park, EX5 1EW
- Salary: £37,920.80 per annum
- Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Start time: 04:00–14:00
- Additional pay: £25 lone‑working bonus when completing single‑manned routes
- Working pattern: May be single‑manned or double‑manned depending on business needs
- Flexibility: New starters should be prepared to cover different routes for holiday cover

What will I be doing?
You’ll be responsible for the safe driving and operation of LGV Class 2 vehicles, collecting industrial and commercial waste and recycling from customers across the local area. Every day, you’ll help deliver a reliable, high‑quality service while ensuring full compliance with customer and company Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate LGV vehicles to complete scheduled waste and recycling collections.
- Carry out loading duties and support your team to meet daily service targets.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and represent SUEZ professionally.
- Follow all Health & Safety and environmental procedures.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are used safely and responsibly.
What are the requirements?
You’ll bring a passion for professional driving, strong communication skills and a collaborative approach. You’ll enjoy being part of a hardworking team that takes pride in delivering an essential service to local communities.
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC card.
- A commitment to safe driving and excellent customer service.
- Experience in the waste industry (desirable but not essential).
- Experience with Rear Compaction Vehicles (preferred; full training provided).
- A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to learn.
