Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager, with either COTC and/or WAMITAB certification? Then you can help create a greener UK. A greener, more environmentally-friendly UK is possible – and we’re making it happen. At Suez, we’re committed to making our world a more sustainable place – a highly complex challenge. That’s why we need diverse and inspirational individuals to help us move forward. If you’re ready to shape the future, collaborate, and drive positive change, we want you on our team. Join us to unleash your talent and help us achieve our shared goals.
Based in Luton, this role is 45 hours per week working 7.30am to 4.30pm. The salary range on offer is £40,260 - £50,096. It is essential that you hold either COTC / WAMITAB Certification.
What will I be doing? This is your chance to support and guide the activities at our sites that help manage the recycling and recovery of waste collected across the area. Under your guidance and leadership, the sites will run like clockwork, with you supporting the management of the daily activities for both operations and our teams performing at their very best. To succeed, you’ll need to monitor budgets; maximise revenue; see that machinery’s maintained; and make sure that safety and compliance are paramount. Much depends on your ability to establish a best practice mentality where people are motivated and excellence is the goal, in everything from customer service to profitability.
What are the requirements? This senior post calls for a proven track record in a similar role, managing a waste treatment / production facility or similar production orientated site before, having led and inspired teams. Underpinning your experience will, ideally, be a COTC qualification in Treatment and an IOSH Managing Safely qualification. A NEBOSH general certificate would be even better, but isn’t essential, as any required training will be provided. More important is an eye for detail, efficiency and the drive to complete every task to the highest standard. You’ll combine this with commercial acumen, Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and a friendly, approachable manner.
Who we are: Join us, and you’ll be part of a forward-thinking business where people are free to grow. In a workplace where respect, team spirit, customer focus, and commitment to the environment are real values – not just words on a page. You’ll have access to continuous learning and development opportunities, empowering you to reach your full potential. Our inclusive culture ensures that everyone’s voice is heard and valued, fostering innovation and collaboration. We offer competitive benefits, including flexible working arrangements, comprehensive health and wellness programs, and opportunities for career advancement.
If you’re ready to take on this challenge and be part of a team that’s dedicated to making a positive impact, apply to Suez today. Together, we can build a sustainable future. To find out more or apply, please complete the application form and attach your CV.
