Responsibilities
- Managing and controlling inventory of engineering spares, maintenance consumables, and critical parts to support maximum plant availability and efficiency.
- Ordering stock, issuing items to teams, and maintaining accurate records using maintenance/inventory management systems.
- Monitoring stock levels, forecasting needs, and minimising overstock or shortages to optimise availability.
- Taking ownership of the inventory budget, tracking spend, and contributing to cost‑effective procurement decisions.
- Ensuring all stock processes comply with health & safety, environmental standards, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Experience working in an engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or energy environment (essential).
- Proven track record using maintenance or inventory management systems (e.g., CMMS, ERP, or similar).
- Hands‑on experience managing inventory, stock control, and/or consumables budgets.
