Benefits: Call-Out Allowance (£200 per week), up to 10% annual bonus, 5% employer pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Hours: Monday – Friday (call out is 1 week in 7)

What will I be doing?
You’ll deliver both reactive and planned maintenance, working with advanced systems that help transform waste into energy. As part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team, you’ll also share your expertise across disciplines and help keep the site running efficiently.
- Deliver planned and reactive EC&I maintenance across the plant to maximise reliability and performance.
- Provide specialist expertise on key equipment including Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMs) and the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs and instrumentation issues quickly and effectively.
- Offer guidance, supervision and development support to junior technicians and the wider team.
- Participate in a 1-in-7 on-call rota for essential out-of-hours cover (fully compensated).
What are the requirements?

- Completed relevant engineering apprenticeship and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Solid experience in PLCs, programming experience is highly desirable, instrumentation troubleshooting, and experience with DCS systems.
- C&G 2377 PAT Testing qualification.
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or similar; training support available if needed).
- Experience with Mitsubishi control systems is desirable but not required.
