SUEZ is looking to recruit a Bid Manager to join our successful Industrial and Commercial Sales Team. What will I be doing?

  • You’ll be leading on the Bid Writing for large National Accounts and give support to Regional teams on their bid writing for smaller national accounts.
  • You’ll be tasked with managing, producing and ensuring circulation of National bid pipeline reports.
  • Liaise with prospective national bid clients, other members of staff and external advisers and/or consultants to ensure appropriate inputs to tenders.
  • Build open and effective relationships between other members of the team and others within the SUEZ group.
  • Ensure that all bids put together are done so to an extremely high standard.

What are the requirements?

  • Experience of developing bids in a multi-disciplined environment.
  • An understanding of UK waste legislation and market drivers, as well as waste collection and street cleansing methodologies.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Good financial knowledge with the ability to develop financial models for tenders.
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations and the associated tender processes.
