Role starts on 7th SEPTEMBER 2026. There is travel expected in this role and nights away from home. Can be based around North East Newcastle area. Role is offered on a 24 month basis - incorporating 6 x 3-4 month work placements. These may be in any of the region detailed above. £28,673 - £31,257. Company Car / Car Allowance. Up to 3% Bonus. About the Role
What will I be doing?
- Contract management for IBA and APCR processors, to ensure value extraction is being maximised and EFWs receive continuity of service.
- Data interpretation and analysis of operational performance.
- Development of commercial opportunities and end market value chain maximisation.
- Continuous improvement in process efficiency and evaluation of innovative operating techniques to maximise commodity recoveries from IBA.
- Attendance of operational meetings across all UK wide sites, including overnight stays.
- To undertake professional and personal development by improving knowledge of waste management industry.
What are the requirements?
- Graduated within the last 2/3 years in a Business, Science or Geography discipline - degree at 2:2 standard.
- 3 A levels at grade A-C (or equivalent).
- Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship either now or at any time in the future.
- A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
- Must be OK with being away from home as overnight stays will be required.
- Ideally you will already have some work experience through an industrial placement or summer placement to underpin your exceptional academic record.
