Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent levels of customer service, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials they are depositing.
  • A flexible approach is required.
  • Full driving licence required and own transport preferable.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
  • Controlling the exchange of containers by booking loads with the relevant person, thereby ensuring the site always has space to segregate and store material correctly.
  • Maintaining a tidy site within his/her areas of responsibility.
  • Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
  • Co‑operating with SUEZ and other employees to comply with the site permit, all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
  • Any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.

Qualifications and Experience

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure operations exceed the standards required.
  • A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
  • Prior mobile plant use desirable (full training provided).
  • Flexible approach to work advantageous as you may cover holiday and sick days if required.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Potential to gain qualifications, including IOSH health.

Employment Details

  • Salary £29,764.65 per annum.
  • Working a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern.
  • Start/finish times: 10.5 hours per shift in winter, between 07:45 am – 18:15 pm; 12.5 hours per shift in summer between 07:45 am – 20:15 pm.
  • Working 38.5 hours per week.
  • Full PPE provided.
