Responsibilities

  • Use retail experience to drive business, push sales and achieve targets.
  • Lead a team to deliver great customer service to donors and customers.
  • Work with local community to generate sufficient donated stock.
  • Recruit, train and retain a volunteer team, guiding them and the shop manager.
  • Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety.
  • Manage stock processes to keep shop well merchandised with fresh seasonal stock.
  • Act as brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in‑store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage effective stock process through the Epos operation.
  • Help maintain a positive can‑do attitude, good judgment, and understanding of financial and IT administration.
