Sue Ryder has an exciting opportunity work as part of a new retail support team that will drive the future of one of the largest and most recognisable UK healthcare charity retailers. With just under 400 shops, every item sold generates funding so we can continue to provide 2.7 million hours of expert medical, practical, bereavement and emotional support every year, in our hospices, in people\'s homes and in the community.
The Role
Reporting to the Retail Senior Support Officer, working as part of the Retail Support team, you will provide administration support, in areas such as property maintenance, IT, People related administration, and also excellent customer service to Retail Sales Managers and shop teams in a specific Retail Region, enabling our regional and shop teams to focus on generating income.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Provide support for a specific region and territories to reflect operational needs
β’ Support with payroll system administration tasks
β’ Support with providing People support such as absence administration or induction tracking
β’ Work with our support teams, to support resolution of issues for our shop teams
β’ Highlight to Retail Senior Support Officer where action is required to ensure that activities are compliant with legislation
You will have
β’ Administration experience in a similar environment
β’ Good numeracy skills with the ability to enter data accurately
β’ Some knowledge of People Management/Payroll systems with the flexibility and a willingness to learn
β’ Good Customer Service skills & experience
β’ Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
