Registered Nurse – In-Patient Unit
Sue Ryder St John\’s Hospice, Moggerhanger, Bedford, MK44 3RJ
Full time and part time hours available – 12 hour shifts
£27,805 – £30,582 per annum, pro rata plus 30% enhancements for nights and weekends
About the Role:
We are looking for compassionate and kind nurses to join our team. You will be vital to ensure that each patient, and their family, receives individualised, specialist care. You will work on our busy 15-bed in patient unit alongside our multi-professional team.
Some aspects of the role are to:
•Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence-based practice.
•Work within the MDT.
•Maintain good records management using our electronic system.
•Carry out all clinical procedures, including various pain and symptom management treatments.
•Partake in education and training.
•Partake in our quality and governance programme, like completing audits.
About you
•NMC registered, ideally with post-registration experience in palliative, end of life care.
•Ability to be flexible, positive and work within the wider team.
•Good communication skills.
