Sue Ryder is seeking a dynamic and visionary Regional Director of Healthcare Operations, to oversee our healthcare service in the South West of England and lead our strategy for growth across the region.

Main duties of the job
The Role
As the Regional Director of Healthcare Operations, you will be at the forefront of our mission, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative models of care. You will be responsible for the overall performance, operational delivery, and financial management of your healthcare region, ensuring that services are safe, effective, and continuously improving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing, inclusive, and compassionate team.
- Driving the implementation of our new PEoLC strategy to create a sustainable and impactful care ecosystem.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with NHS partners, commissioners, and the voluntary sector to enhance service delivery.
- Ensuring financial and operational excellence, meeting regulatory and governance requirements.
- Acting as a visible and inspiring leader, championing our values and mission at all levels.

- Educated to post-graduate level or equivalent experience in the health sector/third sector
- Management and leadership qualification or equivalent experience
