Must be based within an easy commute of both Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough and St Johns in Moggerhanger

You will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with managers and providing HR advice
  • Managing complex employee relations cases
  • Advising on employment law and people practices
  • Coaching managers to build capability
  • Supporting wellbeing and inclusion initiatives
  • Contributing to organisation-wide people projects
  • Ensuring compliant, values-led people decisions

Minimum Essential Criteria

To qualify for our Disability Confident 'Offer an Interview' scheme, applicants must demonstrate that they meet the following minimum essential criteria:

  • Experience of managing complex employee relations cases and providing HR advice to managers.
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of TUPE.
  • Experience within healthcare, charity or retail environments.
  • Experience contributing to organisational change or people projects.
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving.
