- Role Purpose
To Provide safe, compassionate complementary therapy treatments that promote relaxation, reduce stress and symptoms, and improved the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients and carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide complementary therapy treatments such as massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, reiki and other therapies within your qualifications and the organisational policies.
- Adapt treatments to meet the individual needs and health conditions of the patients.
- Promote comfort, symptom management, relaxation and emotional wellbeing for patients and carers.
- Maintain accurate digital treatment records.
- Observe professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding and concerns about patients' wellbeing.
- Follow infection prevention, safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Attend mandatory training.
- Maintain professional registration, insurance, and CPD.
