The reception team are often the first people visitors speak to when they arrive, they play an important role in making visitors feel welcome. In this role you’ll provide a warm, friendly greeting and support the smooth running of our reception area. THIS VOLUNTEER ROLE IS FOR OUT OF HOURS (evenings) & WEEKEND RECEPTION DUTIES ONLY
Activities will usually include:
- Responding to requests for information
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Admin tasks like photocopying and printing
- Greeting visitors to the hospice
- Showing patients and families around the building
- Making refreshments
- Keeping up to date on the charity's work so you can answer questions
How often we’d like your support:
We hope you’ll volunteer 3 - 6 hours a week, but all our roles are flexible to suit you.
