Location: Sue Ryder Charity shop, 553 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton cum Hardy, Manchester, M21 0AE

Hours: 15 hours over 3 days, 5 hours per shift.

Salary: £12.71 per hour + rewards & benefits.

About the Role

Support the shop team in our Chorlton store by creating a well-presented shop, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the store operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Help create a well-presented shop where customers get great service.
  • Sort, size and manage stock; assist customers with purchases.
  • May involve lifting heavy goods or furniture.
  • Maximise donated income through proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed levels and stock planning.
  • Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety.
  • Manage effective stock processes to keep the shop merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.

Minimum Essential Criteria

  • Customer Service Experience
  • Cash Handling/Till work
  • Basic IT skills (emails, instant messaging, video calls)
  • Organisational Skills
  • Lone working experience

Desirable Criteria

  • High street retail, leisure or hospitality background
  • KPI and target experience
  • Team Player
  • Merchandising/Stock rotation experience
