Location: Sue Ryder Charity shop, East Side Retail Park, Aberford Rd, East Garforth LS25 2GE

Hours: 22.5 Hours per week over 7 days

Pay: £12.71 per hour plus rewards & benefits

Every item sold in our shops generates funding so we can continue to provide 2.7 million hours of expert medical, practical, bereavement and emotional support each year to hospices, homes and the community. As part of the retail team, you'll help inspire communities to provide more care and contribute to generating income that funds essential services.

Responsibilities

  • Help create a well‑presented shop where customers receive great service.
  • Sort and size stock, and be on hand to assist customers with purchases.
  • Move stock, which may involve lifting heavy goods or furniture.
  • Maximise donated income through proactive stock generation, optimum pricing, processing stock to agreed levels, and stock planning.
  • Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety is a priority.
  • Manage effective stock processes to keep the shop merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock at all times.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, supporting in‑store campaigns to promote the brand and national fundraising initiatives.
