Shop Supervisor – 15 hours per week (including weekends, on rota). Fixed‑term contract of 6 months. £12.79 per hour plus reward and benefit scheme. Shop located at 22 Exeter Road, Exmouth, EX8 1PP.
Responsibilities
- Use retail experience to drive business, push sales and achieve targets.
- Lead a team to deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
- Work with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock to drive sales.
- Recruit, train and retain a volunteer team, providing leadership and guidance.
- Set high standards for merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety are priorities.
- Manage effective stock processes, ensuring the shop is well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock at all times.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in‑store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
- Operate the Epos system for efficient stock and sales processes.

- Basic IT skills (emails, instant messaging, video calls)
