37.5 hours per week including Saturdays on rota.

£25,302.39 pa plus reward and benefit scheme.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Using your retail experience to drive business, push sales and achieve targets.
  • Leading the team to deliver great customer service to donors and customers.
  • Working with the local community to generate sufficient donated stock.
  • Recruiting, training and retaining a volunteer team.
  • Setting high standards of merchandising and housekeeping and ensuring health and safety.
  • Managing effective stock processes to keep the shop well merchandised with fresh, seasonal stock.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder and supporting in-store campaigns.
  • Managing stock processes through the EPOS operation.

Minimum Essential Criteria

  • Customer service experience.
  • People management experience (reviews/1:1/volunteer recruitment/team meetings).
  • KPI and target experience.
  • Strong IT skills (admin, emails, instant messaging, video calls).
  • Organisational skills.
  • Lone working experience.

Desirable Criteria

  • High-street retail or charity retail managerial experience.
  • Health and safety knowledge.
  • Minimum Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • High-street retail, leisure or hospitality background.
  • Merchandising/stock rotation experience.
