Overview

Sue Ross Recruitment are looking for an organised, people focused professional with a passion for HR and office coordination to join our client who are looking for a proactive HR Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a varied, fast paced environment. To be considered for this role you MUST be at least CIPD Level 3 Qualified.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the entire onboarding journey, from drafting employment documents to arranging induction activities
  • Managing the offboarding process, ensuring all required paperwork and procedures are finalised
  • Keeping the company training matrix up to date and coordinating any new or refresher training sessions
  • Making sure all mandatory HR and Health & Safety training obligations are fulfilled
  • Assisting with recruitment by organising interviews and providing support to hiring managers
  • Tracking staff annual leave and monitoring sickness records
  • Delivering daily administrative assistance to the Head of HR & Learning & Development
  • Upholding strict confidentiality across all HR related matters

Qualifications

  • Must be CIPD Level 3 Qualified
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • A strong sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • A team focused mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
