Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected world leading manufacturing company, to recruit an Executive Assistant, to support the MD and team of Senior Executives.
You will provide proactive, high-level administrative and operational support to the Managing Director and other Senior Executives. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, enabling the leadership team to focus on strategic priorities and business objectives. The Executive Assistant will also collaborate across departments to support wider business initiatives, ensuring tasks are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Executive Assistant:
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange domestic and international travel for the MD and Senior Executives.
- Prepare high-quality documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a professional point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders; always maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Support the planning and execution of corporate events, meetings, and off-site activities.
- Handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
- Take meeting minutes, track actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional projects and administrative tasks.
- Monitor and manage incoming communications, prioritising and responding where appropriate.
- Organisation of meeting rooms.
Candidate Requirements for the Executive Assistant:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Executive assistant or senior administrative support role. Experience of working within a business support team desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Word). Understanding of business operations and executive level priorities.
- Skills & competencies: Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills – with an ability to tailor to the audience. Ability to work with discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information. Problem-Solving. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Attention to detail. Ability to manage changing priorities. Ability to take accurate minutes and manage agendas and actions. Preparation of reports, presentations and briefings.
