Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking an experienced professional to work as part of a private client team at an accredited solicitors firm in Barnsley. With over 25 years’ experience in legal services, our client is looking to appoint a personable individual to develop professionally and personally in an experienced Fee Earner role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in wills, probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) who are looking to further their career in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within a small, close-knit team, alongside an on-site paralegal and under the supervision of the Head of Department.
  • Actively manage and progress cases with initiative and efficiency.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in all legal documentation and casework.
  • Provide excellent client service, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Legal Experience: Essential, ideally within wills, probate, and LPA matters.
  • Skills: Strong IT proficiency, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and keen attention to detail.
  • Initiative: Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

The role could suit candidates from experienced paralegals, CILEX/FILEX to qualified solicitors/barristers.
