Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected law firm, to recruit an HR Assistant on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, forward thinking company.

Key Responsibilities for the Part-time HR Assistant:

  • Supporting the People & Culture Director in the administration of staff records by ensuring all records are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department.
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness records.
  • Assisting with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews, issuing employment contracts and onboarding processes.
  • Assisting with the process of leavers including the administration of correspondence, arrangements for exit interviews and compliant record closure procedures.
  • Supporting HR in coordinating training, programs, workshops and seminars.
  • Administering general HR ad hoc processes such as collating and maintaining One to One, Probation, Appraisal and Competence records.
  • Supporting collating of information and updating of records and policies for annual compliance.

Candidate Requirements for the Part-time HR Assistant:

  • Relevant HR or Recruitment administrative experience.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work with organisational growth and change.
  • Excellent inter-personal and team working skills at all levels.
  • Ability to manage, develop and motivate staff.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with staff and clients.

This is a permanent position, working part-time hours of 21 hours per week, however flexibility is offered and we are also open to receiving applications from candidates looking for full time hours.
