Sue Ross Recruitment are looking for someone to join our clients central team in a pivotal support role, helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of their organisation. This role offers the opportunity to build new skills—particularly in the field of social investment—and to play an important part in our mission to help create a fairer and more equitable society for all. This is such an interesting and varied role, working closely with the Operations Manager.
Your duties will include:
- Create social media content, manage posts, and support website updates
- Coordinate Board and Subcommittee meetings, including diaries, notes, and action logs
- Maintain staff records, support recruitment, onboarding, and HR & Training processes
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure health & safety compliance and building maintenance
- Handle general office tasks such as post, supplies, and maintaining filing systems
Key requirements and experience:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to keep clear, up‑to‑date action lists and diary entries
- Work confidently with processes and systems to ensure compliance
- Ability to identify operational issues early and suggest solutions
- Confident in emails, social media posts, website text, and presentations
- Strong note‑taking and record‑keeping
- Ability to prioritise effectively and balance competing demands
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and anticipating issues
