This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual who is looking to step into a broader, end-to-end role, taking ownership of new business opportunities while developing their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment. This hands-on position offers exposure to the full commercial process, from identifying new opportunities through to delivering tailored solutions and managing accounts. The successful candidate will combine sales capability with strong organisation, commercial awareness, and a solutions-focused mindset.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across a range of sectors
  • Generating leads through research, outbound activity, and networking
  • Managing a structured sales pipeline via CRM
  • Sourcing suitable products aligned to client briefs, budgets, and timescales
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
  • Negotiating pricing and lead times to achieve commercially viable solutions
  • Producing accurate quotations and tailored proposals
  • Managing orders from enquiry through to delivery, liaising closely with internal teams
  • Developing long-term client relationships and identifying repeat business opportunities

This role would suit someone who has experience in sales, account management, or business development and is now ready to take on increased responsibility while continuing to learn and develop. You are likely to have:

  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of pricing, margin, and negotiation
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • A high level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, driven approach and a willingness to learn

Experience within a product-based environment such as sourcing, printing, branded merchandise, or supplier management would be advantageous but is not essential. This role offers real scope for development and progression for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, values guidance and mentoring, and wants to build a long-term career in a commercial, growth-focused environment.
