Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected food manufacturing and distribution company, to recruit a Part-Time Administrator for a permanent role (working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 8am to 4pm) This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Sheffield-based business with a long-standing reputation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales order processing, customer service, supplier management, finance, and general office administration. Key Responsibilities for the Part-Time Administrator role: * Process customer orders received via email, telephone, and EDI. * Enter all orders onto Sage, including mail orders and Amazon. * Prepare dispatch notes, invoices, and delivery labels. * Coordinate with customers and third-party distributors for timely deliveries. * Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and face-to-face. * Contact existing and potential customers to increase sales and distribution. * Order ingredients, merchandise, and materials from suppliers. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, supplier statements, and pallet orders. * Process mail orders, including reconciliation with payment records and packing when required. * Support with finance administration, including invoice processing, payment chasing, and bank reconciliations. * Assist with annual audits, stock takes, and general office duties. Candidate Requirements for the Part-Time Administration role: * Previous administration experience (experience with Sage is desirable). * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to handle finance-related administration confidently. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied environment.
