Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a highly regarded and well‑established South Yorkshire law firm to recruit a Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their busy and expanding Civil Litigation department. This opportunity would suit a newly qualified solicitor up to 4 years’ post‑qualification experience, or a CILEx Fellow with Litigation Practice Rights, who has experience handling or assisting with clinical negligence matters. The successful candidate will work across the firm’s Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley offices as part of a hardworking and respected medical negligence team. You will provide high‑quality legal advice and representation to clients across a broad range of medical negligence matters, including but not limited to hospital negligence, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis, incorrect prescription and complex personal injury claims. The firm has a strong reputation for inquest work and is recognised locally for offering both pre‑inquest support and representation at Coroners’ hearings. The department also undertakes legally aided medical negligence work, providing an excellent opportunity to develop experience in this specialist area.
