Overview

Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our local government client to recruit a HR Business Partner for up to a 12 week duration. This is an exciting opportunity to join a senior leadership team to shape workforce plans, strengthen organisational collaboration, and manage risks, offer insight, and subsequent resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with senior leadership
  • Taking the lead with complex employee matters through to resolution
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders internal and external
  • Supporting the ongoing use of HR policy and procedures
  • Provide high level advice
  • Identify risks and implement plans to resolve
  • Support and influence leadership to adopt cultural change to the benefit of the business
  • Monitoring trends, providing training, continuous improvement, guidance and learning across the business
  • Monitoring and producing metrics and analytics for the business
  • Ensuring they are up to date with all employment law
  • Ensuring best practice is adopted throughout

Candidate Requirements

  • CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Practice (or equivalent HR qualification).
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills
  • Excellent knowledge of HR policies including GDPR, Data protection and current employment law, and proven evidence of implementing
