Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respectedLaw Firm who are seeking a Data Protection Fee Earner, who will consider candidates at paralegal, legal executive and solicitor level.

As part of our clients growing litigation team, you will play a key role in delivering compensation and closure for those whose rights have been violated.

Depending on your experience, you will be involved in:

  • Fast-track and/or multi-track litigation
  • Managing claims from pre-action through to trial
  • Working with leading barristers and expert witnesses
  • You ll handle a varied caseload and be responsible for investigating liability, gathering evidence, preparing legal documents, and progressing claims through court. You\’ll be supported by a dynamic, forward-thinking team with a shared mission to defend privacy rights.

Key Responsibilities for the Data Protection Fee Earner role:

  • Managing client relationships and expectations throughout the claims process
  • Drafting pre-action correspondence and court documents (e.g. Claim Forms, Particulars of Claim, Directions Questionnaires)
  • Instructing and liaising with Counsel
  • Attending conferences, applications, and trials
  • Taking witness statements and preparing evidence
  • Advising clients on special damages and obtaining medical reports
  • Handling offers and settlement negotiations
  • Ensuring compliance with CPR and Court directions
