Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respectedLaw Firm who are seeking a Data Protection Fee Earner, who will consider candidates at paralegal, legal executive and solicitor level.
As part of our clients growing litigation team, you will play a key role in delivering compensation and closure for those whose rights have been violated.
Depending on your experience, you will be involved in:
- Fast-track and/or multi-track litigation
- Managing claims from pre-action through to trial
- Working with leading barristers and expert witnesses
- You ll handle a varied caseload and be responsible for investigating liability, gathering evidence, preparing legal documents, and progressing claims through court. You\’ll be supported by a dynamic, forward-thinking team with a shared mission to defend privacy rights.
Key Responsibilities for the Data Protection Fee Earner role:
- Managing client relationships and expectations throughout the claims process
- Drafting pre-action correspondence and court documents (e.g. Claim Forms, Particulars of Claim, Directions Questionnaires)
- Instructing and liaising with Counsel
- Attending conferences, applications, and trials
- Taking witness statements and preparing evidence
- Advising clients on special damages and obtaining medical reports
- Handling offers and settlement negotiations
- Ensuring compliance with CPR and Court directions
