Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a leading international housewares brand that is expanding its online presence and seeking a motivated E-commerce Executive to manage and grow its business across major UK marketplaces such as Amazon and Wayfair. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with strong marketplace management experience to play a key role in developing a fast-growing digital sales channel.

Key Responsibilities for the E-commerce Executive:

  • Marketplace Management - Oversee daily operations across Amazon UK Seller Central, Wayfair, and other UK ecommerce platforms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product listings, pricing, and inventory levels. Plan and execute marketplace advertising campaigns such as Amazon PPC and Wayfair Sponsored Products. Monitor performance, adjust bids and budgets, and support seasonal promotions and deals.
  • Listing Creation & Optimization - Write and upload SEO-friendly product content including titles, bullet points, descriptions, keywords, images, and enhanced content. Optimize listings to improve search visibility and conversion rates.
  • Order & Inventory Coordination - Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with warehouses and logistics partners. Manage fulfilment processes (FBA/FBM) and ensure timely processing of orders, returns, and refunds.
  • Customer Service - Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, reviews, and escalations. Resolve issues relating to orders, product information, shipping, and returns to maintain high satisfaction.
  • Analytics & Reporting - Analyse sales data, traffic metrics, keywords, and competitor activity. Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for growth.
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence - Ensure product listings comply with platform policies and UK/EU regulations (product safety, packaging, VAT, etc.). Stay informed about marketplace updates and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with design, marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure consistent product presentation and smooth fulfilment.

Candidate Requirements for the E-commerce Executive role:

  • Ecommerce & Marketing Experience - 2 years managing products on Amazon Seller Central. Hands-on experience with Wayfair or similar UK marketplaces. Familiarity with keyword research, listing tools, and catalogue management. Good understanding of SEO, paid advertising, and conversion optimisation. Ability to write compelling, benefit-driven product copy.
  • Data & Analytical Skills - Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets and marketplace dashboards. Experience with ecommerce software or reporting tools (e.g., Junglescout, Shopify) is a plus.
  • Organisational & Communication Skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple SKUs and projects. Experience in inventory planning or operations coordination is beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners. Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to changes in marketplace algorithms, policies, and customer expectations.

Preferred - Knowledge of UK/EU consumer regulations and VAT. Experience with FBA/FBM fulfilment, EDI integrations, or multichannel listing tools. Background in home goods or lifestyle products.
