Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a Paralegal to join their Residential Conveyancing department. Our client is a highly regarded, multi-accredited law firm with more than 200 years of history in Sheffield. As one of the region's leading legal practices, they have developed an outstanding reputation for building strong professional relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Provide vital support to fee earners within the Residential Conveyancing team.
- Assist with a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including handling client enquiries, providing updates, and taking instructions.
- Progress transactions under supervision and prepare correspondence, forms, and documents in line with instructions.
- Coordinate the exchange of contracts.
- Prepare financial statements, submit SDLT forms, and produce certificates of title for advance funds.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience in a similar conveyancing role.
- Solid understanding of residential conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to liaise regularly and proactively with clients, estate agents, financial advisers, mortgage lenders, and other legal professionals involved in transactions.
