An exclusive and exciting property in Bedfordshire is seeking a Head of Meeting and Events to manage the Meeting and Events Sales Office.
The Property:
- A unique Property set in a 350+ acre estate
- Has 400+ bedrooms
- Has 50+ event spaces plus outdoor event space
- Has a Gym, Spa and Golf Facilities

The Head of Meetings and Events will:
- Report to the Revenue Director
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Meeting and Events Office
- Be responsible for target setting and departmental objectives
- Manage a team of eight within the events office
- Liaise closely with other Senior Managers within the business
- Be commercially astute ensuring on track against the weekly budget
- Manage the larger events end to end
- Have involvement with a system integration
As Head of Meeting & Events you will have:
- Experience of being a Head of Meeting and Events, Senior Event Sales Office Manager, Events Manager, Events Sales Office Manager or Conference and Events Sales Office Manager
- Great man management skills
- Experience of managing and working within large Meeting and Event space
- Three to four years Meeting and Event Management experience as a minimum
- High standards, a can-do attitude, be results driven and have excellent attention to detail
- A strong commercial outlook, determined to achieve results
- Excellent customer care and focus and ability to think outside the box
- Excellent communication skills
- Be measured and very organised, enjoys working in a busy environment
- Ideally have Delfi and Opera experience
- Experience of a system upgrade not essential but would be useful
You must have worked in hospitality, live in the UK to apply for this role and have the right to work.
