We are currently seeking a Sales Manager UK & Ireland (m/f/d) for a full‑time position. The role requires residency within the sales region, for example in Birmingham, Manchester or London.
You will receive a comprehensive onboarding programme at our headquarters in Ochsenhausen, Germany, where you will gain an in‑depth understanding of our products, services and sales strategies. After the onboarding period, you will take responsibility for strengthening our market presence and expanding our customer base in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales growth with existing customers and new prospects by expanding business and introducing innovative solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage annual supply agreements.
- Ensure profitability through effective pricing, commercial terms, inventory coordination and receivables management.
- Provide relevant market intelligence, including trends, competitor insights and packaging potential.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships at both operational and strategic levels.
- Prepare accurate documentation and ensure all information is available for efficient order processing and customer service.
- A degree in Economics, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
- At least five years of technical and commercial experience in the packaging industry. Experience in the food sector is an advantage.
- Strong sales, customer management and negotiation abilities.
- A proactive and results‑driven mindset with the ability to generate new business opportunities independently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Fluency in English is required.
