SUDEP Action works to reduce epilepsy-related deaths and supports people affected by bereavement. This fundraising post reports to the Chief Executive.
The role
Develop income from major donors, corporate partnerships, regular giving and legacies. Build relationships with supporters and turn fundraising plans into sustainable income.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fundraising activity across these income streams.
- Cultivate and steward donor and corporate relationships.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and income reporting.
- Keep supporter information accurate and follow fundraising regulations.
- Provide line-management cover for the Community Fundraising Officer when required.
About you
Bring senior fundraising experience, strong relationship-building skills and the ability to translate strategy into results. Sensitivity to bereavement and commitment to the charity’s purpose are important.
Hours, location and salary
This is a two-year fixed-term role for 21–28 hours weekly, with possible extension. Hybrid working includes Thursdays in Wantage, a whole-team day every six weeks and some out-of-hours events.
Advertised salary: £38,000–£48,000 FTE.
