We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our established team. This is an influential role working closely with the Finance Director and Leadership Team, in a supportive environment with a real emphasis on shared values, commercial insight and continuous improvement. The Role: The best part of working at Sudbury Silk Mills is that no day is the same. As our Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting business performance and providing commercial insight to help shape effective decision-making. To give you an idea of what your new career may include:
- Leading, developing and supporting the Finance team, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Partnering with the Leadership Team to provide financial insight, analysis and guidance to support business decisions.
- Coordinating budgets, forecasts, management information, costing, pricing and the annual finance plan.
- Reviewing financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities and providing clear commercial recommendations.
- Driving continuous improvement across the business, strengthening financial processes, controls, efficiencies and financial disciplines.
What you will bring: In order to join our team, you will need:
- Significant finance experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment, with experience of leading and developing a team.
- Strong commercial and business awareness, with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight.
- A curious and analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail and the confidence to challenge and investigate the story behind the numbers.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills, together with experience using ERP systems and financial modelling.
- A degree in Finance or Business Administration and/or a professional accounting qualification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the textile industry would also be beneficial.
