Field based, aligned to any of our UK offices. We’re looking for someone with experience in paraplanning to become an L&D Technical Trainer (paraplanning specialist) to deliver high-quality technical learning that builds confidence, capability and role readiness across the business. This role is focused on the practical application of learning, supporting onboarding, change and ongoing development across Operations (focused in paraplanning). You’ll work closely with L&D colleagues, Quality, Change, Risk & Compliance and business leaders to ensure learning is timely, relevant and drives measurable improvement.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Delivering and continuously improving technical onboarding programmes
  • Designing and delivering learning to support operational and regulatory change
  • Providing CPD-aligned learning, refreshers and deep dives for existing staff
  • Delivering thematic training aligned to quality, risk and compliance priorities
  • Providing post‑training coaching and reinforcement to embed learning
  • Using QA insight, MI and feedback to shape effective learning interventions
  • Supporting early careers pathways and Succession development

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Background as a Paraplanner or similar role
  • Strong understanding of a regulated financial services environment
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into practical learning
  • Could become a confident facilitator presenting across face‑to‑face and virtual settings
  • Strong coaching, questioning and communication skills
  • Organised, resilient and comfortable working in change
