Senior IT Engineer – 3rd Line Support Hybrid from our central London office. The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT Engineer to join our IT Support team. In this varied and fast-paced role, you will work as a key member of the team, responsible for a comprehensive range of third-line support and development activities related to IT and telephone communications. This includes day-to-day operational tasks such as user, infrastructure, and systems support, as well as participation in technical and business change projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing third-line support to troubleshoot complex end-user issues that cannot be resolved by the IT Helpdesk.
  • Collaborating with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) to address Core Infrastructure issues promptly.
  • Working in conjunction with the Head of IT Infrastructure to carry out new business activations processes and procedure from an IT perspective.
  • Conducting any specific project work that is determined as a result of business requirement or core infrastructure changes.
  • Adhering to ITIL framework within all operational activities to maintain our high-level security standards.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a helpful, motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and genuine passion for IT.

  • Prior experience of providing 2nd or 3rd line IT support.
  • Experience of working with cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience of using remote control desktop applications.
  • Experience of operating within an ITIL framework.
  • Systems Admin experience of Win 7/8/10 and/or Office 365.
  • Will ideally have knowledge of Azure AD, Automation, Shared scripting and Data warehouse management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Full driving licence and willingness for UK-wide travel as and when required.
