We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to progress their career within our London Wall Partners team as a Senior Associate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and technically capable financial planning professional who is ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and deliver consistently high-quality work.
You will ensure that client deliverables are completed accurately and issued within the required timescales. You will also assist in leading client relationships and support the coaching and development of colleagues.

People
- Proactively assist senior members of the team
- Managing and developing a sub-team / team of graduates and associates to maximise productivity, profitability, individual performance and encourage / promote commercial thinking and behaviour
- Oversee management of reports and guide / assist, where appropriate
- Train Associates/Assistants, both on the hard skills, such as providing advice, and soft skills, such as LWP style and communication
- Assist with the recruitment process for their team/sub team
Existing Clients and Ongoing Deliverables
- Assist in the leading of 10 – 20 client relationships with interaction from Senior Financial Adviser / Senior Adviser
- Ensure client deliverables are completed and issued on an accurate and timely basis
- Managing the process of ensuring all the ancillary tasks associated with a report are ready sufficiently in advance of the report delivery.
- Provide any Initial Reviews within 6 – 8 weeks of receipt of information from providers (including ensuring we have all information from the client and providers)
- Accurately draft / send responses to client emails such that they can be sent within 24 hours of receipt
- Review work received from Associates / Assistants so that it is ready to be sent to clients, with no factual, grammatical or formatting mistakes within the agreed time frame
- Ensuring that any follow ups (for example, on information requests from providers or responses from clients) are diarised and actioned under your own initiative at the appropriate time and the task remains on your to do list until completion
- Ensure the Client Take on process is completed by Client Operations Advisers
Prospecting and Business Development
- Take responsibility for a pool of 20 - 50 of the firm's existing prospects and demonstrate consistent and systematic prospecting activity, including the timely reporting of that activity
- Identify and initiate contact with 5 - 10 potential prospects, by, for example, reliably networking and representing the firm externally, sourcing from LinkedIn, taking on a new law firm
- Assist team in meeting its new business targets of annualised fee income
- Coordinate the prospecting strategy within their team to ensure all levels of are involved and partaking in prospecting

Personal and Professional Development
- Ensure technical and industry knowledge is up-to-date and disseminated more widely throughout the firm, as appropriate, and that required CPD hours are attained
- Be aware of FP rules, theories and techniques – including keeping up to date with any changes in tax regulations or other changes
- Demonstrate continued competence in FCA certified functions as evidenced by the satisfactory completion of the annual Certified Function Assessment form
- Consider area for specialism (tax, pensions etc.)
You will be professional, trustworthy and client-focused, with an articulate and engaging communication style. You will be comfortable building strong relationships with clients and colleagues and will take a proactive and commercially aware approach to your work.
- 4+ years’ experience in the workplace.
- Chartered Financial Planner status or be working towards this.
- A strong interest in investments, economics and business.

- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
