Due to our continued growth, Succession now offers a fantastic opportunity for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Localities Assistant in our new Hitchin office. The role…

The primary purpose of this role is to provide ‘front of house’ services at the Hitchin office. This includes managing the visitors’ diary, arranging meetings, and handling switchboard activity. The role holder will be the main point of contact for daily central stock and ordering systems.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

  • Meet and greet clients and visitors.
  • Answer and redirect phone calls appropriately.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and support meetings.
  • Collect, open, and distribute post.
  • Keep telephone and email directories up to date.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment such as retail or customer service.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills with high accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent telecommunications skills.
