We have over 900 employees and 200 Wealth Planners providing wealth management and financial planning services across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced technical professional to join our Financial Planner Training Team.

The role

The Planner Training Technical Lead will be a financial planning technical specialist, leading stakeholders to create, maintain, and embed guidance on core planning scenarios such as estate planning, accumulation, and decumulation options.

Daily responsibilities include

• Creating guidance around core planning scenarios
• Developing product-specific scenarios like VCTs, EIS, Offshore Bonds
• Developing technical competency frameworks for planners & paraplanners
• Managing technical training requirements, including induction and ongoing upskilling

Requirements for success

• Level 4 Financial Planning Qualification
• Extensive Financial Services experience
• Significant advisory experience
• Strong facilitation skills
• Strategic planning ability
