We have over 900 employees and 200 Wealth Planners who provide wealth management and financial planning services to individuals and corporate clients across the UK via our network of offices.
As part of Succession Wealth’s continued dedication to supporting its Financial Planners, we are now seeking an experienced and technically established professional to join our Financial Planner Training Team.
The role…
The Planner Training Technical Lead will be a financial planning technical specialist, who can lead and galvanise a variety of key stakeholders (including: planners, paraplanners, TCSMs, proposition specialists) to create, maintain and embed standardised views and guidance around core planning life scenarios – estate planning, accumulation options, de-cumulation options, etc.
On a day to day basis you can expect to be:
- Creating house views and guidance around core planning life scenarios – estate planning, accumulation options, de-cumulation options, etc
- Developing product specific scenarios around more nuanced offerings – VCTs, EIS, Offshore Bonds
- Developing technical competency framework for planners & paraplanners based on proposition and role requirements
- Taking responsibility for technical training requirements and assisting in the planner training agenda – including elements in the induction, ongoing technical upskilling, leveraging third party providers / CISI / CII
To be successful in the role you will need:
- Extensive Financial Services industry experience
- Significant Financial Advisory experience
- To be a credible and compelling facilitator, with an ability to read the room
- To be a talented planner that can look ahead to plan strategically to achieve team and company goals and objectives
