Our client is a fast-scaling, multi-site consumer services business entering an exciting new phase of growth under incoming private equity ownership. With a strong operational platform already in place, the business is preparing for an ambitious expansion strategy driven by both organic roll‑out and acquisitive growth. We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next stage of the journey. The successful candidate will be a commercially astute and operationally hands‑on CFO with a proven track record in PE‑backed or leveraged environments. Experience within multi‑site, roll‑out, consumer, healthcare, education, retail or leisure sectors would be highly advantageous, particularly where growth through M&A has formed part of the value creation strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the finance function through a private equity transaction and subsequent growth phase
  • Partnering closely with investors, CEO and board on strategic planning and value creation
  • Supporting and executing an active M&A pipeline, including integration activity
  • Enhancing financial controls, reporting, forecasting and KPI visibility across the group
  • Driving operational efficiency and scalability across a growing multi‑site platform
  • Managing banking, covenant and investor relationships

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Previous CFO experience within a PE‑backed, leveraged or high‑growth environment
  • Strong multi‑site operational finance experience
  • Exposure to buy‑and‑build and M&A integration activity
  • A strategic yet hands‑on leadership style
  • The ability to operate at pace within a dynamic environment
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

Given the immediacy of the requirement, applicants must be available on short notice, ideally less than one month. The role is based in the North West of England, with regular on‑site presence expected.
