A high-growth Financial Services business is seeking an ambitious Finance Director to join its leadership team during a transformational period of expansion.

This is not a traditional Finance Director role.

The business has delivered exceptional growth over the last two years and is now entering the next phase of its journey, with ambitious plans to scale revenue significantly, launch new group companies, complete acquisitions, and position itself as a market-leading financial services platform.

As Finance Director, you will be a key member of the executive team, helping shape strategy, drive growth, support acquisitions, and build the financial infrastructure required for a much larger organisation.

For the right individual, this presents a rare opportunity to join a business at an inflection point and play a pivotal role in creating a company capable of attracting future institutional and private equity investment.

You will work directly alongside the owners and senior leadership team to:

  • Lead all financial reporting, governance and compliance activities.
  • Provide strategic financial insight to support rapid growth.
  • Build scalable finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Support M&A activity including acquisition evaluation, due diligence and integration.
  • Develop funding strategies for future business ventures and growth initiatives.
  • Present business performance, forecasts and growth plans to lenders, investors and strategic partners.
  • Help shape a future group structure incorporating multiple financial services businesses.
  • Lead and develop a growing finance function.

We're looking for someone who combines strong financial governance with commercial ambition.

You will likely possess:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant senior finance leadership experience.
  • Background within Financial Services, Lending, Motor Finance, Consumer Finance, Insurance, Banking, FinTech or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Experience managing regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Confidence presenting to boards, lenders, investors and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, fundraising or growth initiatives would be highly advantageous.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial business.

This role offers something increasingly rare:

  • Genuine influence over business strategy.
  • Direct access to owners and decision-makers.
  • Opportunity to help build a group of complementary financial services businesses.
  • Exposure to acquisitions, funding activity and corporate development.
  • A platform to create significant long-term value.
  • The chance to be part of a leadership team building a future private-equity-quality business.

This role will suit ambitious finance leaders who want more than compliance and reporting responsibilities. It is an opportunity to help build something exceptional.
