The Senior Credit Risk Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Mobile Credit Risk team, acting as a key point of expertise and escalation, supporting our Retail, Direct and Online Mobile PostPay business. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing critical regulatory credit data submissions ensuring accuracy and timeliness is within industry guidelines.
- Managing our offshore Credit Referral lifecycle processes, driving our 3rd party supplier performance against agreed KPIs, identifying areas of improvement and improved resource management.
- Maintaining supplier relationships with our credit data partners.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our credit checking processes & risk management, driving automation through the use of AI.
Reporting & Data Management
- Auditing, approving, and submitting automated monthly insight files to credit bureaus, covering approximately 2.7 million records.
- Maintaining accuracy and integrity of all credit-related data submissions and reporting outputs.
- Managing the creation of our regular SIMO risk files for automated pre-approval & debt prevention processes.
- Collating and producing daily, weekly, and monthly credit checking reports (where not managed offshore), using automation through AI.
- Identifying missing risk-codes and tariffs to ensure decision accuracy.
Offshore Outsource Management (JML)
- Managing all Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) processes for offshore outsourced agents across both Vodafone & iD Mobile (Concentrix).
- Administering system access provisioning and de-provisioning across SuccessFactors, Citrix, and relevant third-party systems.
- Delivering training to outsource teams on Credit Referral processes and procedures.
- Acting as an escalation point for iD Mobile and Vodafone outsource teams.
Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement
- Acting as the primary liaison between Retail, Direct and Online teams for all credit-related queries and escalations.
- Serving as a key point of contact with data suppliers and internal support teams for change management and incident resolution.
- Supporting the CEO Complaints team with credit-related escalations and Subject Access Request (SAR) requests.
- Managing Retail Medic requests to ensure responses within SLA.
Project & Product Support
- Providing guidance and subject matter expertise across all credit-related products and projects.
- Supporting the release and testing of scorecard change processes.
- Supporting internal testing requirements following IT system changes.
- Consulting on and developing initiatives to improve credit checking processes, including automation, debt control, and risk management.
Financial & Administrative
- Submitting Purchase Orders (POs) and managing associated payment queries.
- Challenging our 3rd party data partners to ensure they deliver value-for-money, ensure charging accuracy and challenge where overcharging occurs.
Senior Cover & Availability
- Providing cover and support to the Senior Credit Risk Manager during periods of absence and annual leave.
- Maintaining availability on a 7/365 basis (in conjunction with the SCRM) to respond to emergency queries and escalations from Retail, Direct and Online teams and 3rd party providers.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience of providing solutions and analysing data.
- Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with data visualisation, dashboards, PowerBI & AI.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Good communicator able to build strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers & vendors.
