We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Export Finance Client Service Manager. The successful individual will work as part of the Loan Agency Client Services team which consists of Client Service Managers and Associates delivering first-class relationship management services to syndicated loan transaction Clients covering Project Finance, Export Finance, Real Estate, Leveraged Acquisition and Corporate Finance assets.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of Export Finance clients/deals and will be required to display a strong commitment to maintaining and improving a quality client service proposition. A pivotal role working for a global entity whereby you will be part of a dedicated agency team for export finance and have access to a variety of export credit agencies.

In this role you will:

  • Act as Facility Agent, Export Credit Agencies Agent and Intercreditor Agent of an assigned portfolio of syndicated Export Finance loan transactions.
  • Liaise with Export Credit Agencies in their capacity as Export Credit Agency Agent under any policy or insurance related to covered facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams from mandate to professionally onboard, execute, close and fund deals and flag and resolve potential operational issues in advance of closing.
  • Fully oversee end to end deal lifecycle from mandate to final repayment/maturity as applicable, managing amendments, waivers and consent with internal and external parties (including client, lenders and counsel) whilst focusing on pricing for out-of-scope events and opportunities to reprice on refinances and on amendment events.
  • Develop strong client relationships to seek out both retentive and new business opportunities.
  • Work with Product teams in Corporate and Institutional Banking in addition to managing and building relationships with external clients, lawyers, arrangers, borrowers, issuers, sponsors, lenders and Export Credit Agencies.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven background in a comparable role, with a strong understanding of the Syndicated Loan Market and Export Credit Agency backed financing.
  • Wider project and infrastructure finance expertise is desirable with some credit exposure.
  • Client focused, with a proven record of commitment to excellent customer service, a good communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management and presentation skills.
