Job Description

Aramark UK are recruiting multiple Catering Assistant positions for the Hartpury University and Hartpury College which is a specialist institution near Gloucester, focused on animal, agriculture, business, equine, sport, and veterinary nursing education.

The campus is a 360-hectare rural estate with significant investments in facilities, including a working farm, an Agri-Tech Centre, equine and canine centres, and professional sports facilities.

We have weekend only work, weekday and weekend work and zero hours contracts avaialble.

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety by following company procedures and food safety regulations.
  • Set up and clear dining areas, including tables, counters, and serving stations before and after service.
  • Assist with food preparation, such as washing, chopping, and assembling ingredients under the direction of catering staff.
  • Operate kitchen and catering equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding politely to customer requests and resolving basic queries.
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen, dining, and storage areas to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels of food, drinks, and catering supplies, reporting shortages when necessary.
