A global sportswear brand is looking for an Apparel Product Developer to join their team and work across both menswear and womenswear product development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the design team to ensure their vision is executed accurately and that all deadlines are met.

As the Apparel Product Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in design approvals
  • Overseeing operational work and costing
  • Creating measurement charts for suppliers
  • Using the supplier portal to manage labels and ensuring factories use the correct ones
  • Handling supplier allocation and providing tech packs and line lists
  • Approving lab dips, print strike-offs, and embroideries
  • Hanging and organizing samples
  • Communicating with factories regarding proto, pre-bulk, pre-sell, and SMS timelines
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the sportswear, activewear, or athleisure industry across both menswear and womenswear
  • Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques and a strong understanding of pattern cutting
  • Experience working with suppliers in the Far East
  • A background in fit, fabric development, finishes, and construction details.
  • Experience working within a wholesale business model
