We are looking for a Menswear Designer to join a menswear brand known for being on trend and creating timeless pieces. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of multi-product apparel design. This role requires comfortability with new shapes, leading fits, and collaborating closely with our product development team. If youβre adept at identifying trends from both high-end and streetwear markets and translating them into commercially successful collections, we want to hear from you.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on new colours, trims, and fabrics, presenting findings through mood boards
- Generate sketches, technical drawings, and precise tech packs in Adobe Illustrator, demonstrating a keen eye for detail
- Confidently present design concepts in front of brand directors
- Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team, including designers, product developers, and brand directors
- Oversee the entire design process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Hand over comprehensive tech packs to the product development team, ensuring accurate translation of key design details
Experience Required:
- Proven ability to create captivating multi-product seasonal collections from concept through to production
- In-depth knowledge of current and past streetwear trends
- Ideally, educated to a degree level in fashion design
- Immersed in style and culture, with a passion for menswear
- Excellent time management skills to meet key deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams
