Junior Designer

A global sportswear brand is looking for a Junior Designer to join their Watford team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career with a well-known brand.
As a Junior Designer, you will be responsible for researching trends and preparing relevant and creative research on themes, colours, and fabrics. You’ll also initiate original design sketches and tech packs.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Advising on silhouettes, finishes, and fabric suitability
- Creating mood boards
- Attending fit sessions
- Creating seasonal catalogue content
- Collaborating closely with the sales team and Head of Design to help build seasonal ranges
You will maintain up-to-date records of all designs and developments, including style, fabric, and print details. You’ll also follow range plans and critical paths to ensure all deadlines are met.
The role involves attending customer meetings and working on SMU design briefs.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience.
