Our client is known for their glamourous occasion wear. They are looking for a Senior Garment Technologist to join their team in Manchester. You will play a vital role in setting and maintaining the brands technical standards and ensuring top quality garments.
You will conduct garment fittings, collaborate with the Pattern Cutter to create detailed workbooks, and provide feedback to suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.
You will develop fit blocks, size charts, and ensure tech packs are precise for accurate production. Daily tasks include measuring samples, reviewing construction, and addressing any issues with the merchandising team.
In addition, you'll coordinate with suppliers on fit samples, approve size specifications, and monitor customer returns, suggesting improvements as needed. You will also work closely with 3rd party warehouses to ensure packaging requirements are met and occasionally visit the warehouse and suppliers overseas.
Experience in luxury or bridal wear, knowledge of boning and structured garments, and proficiency in Excel and Adobe Illustrator are advantageous.
